    Default Carnabys Cockatoo

    Hi all.
a portrait of a female cockatoo taken a while ago. she was hit by a car a few years ago but now we use her for educational purposes. i love their silly crests, which makes this photo for me.

Eos 5D, ISO 1/1600, 1/1000 sec, f/11 400mm. no crop or flash. slightly overcast day.
    thanks,
    D

Interesting bird, sad story behind the image, although as an educational resource this bird is probalby doing a lot of good to wildlife, very nice light, great exposure, excelent detail and good colors abd BG, I would´ve given a bit more room all arround. COngratulations!

Very interesting bird and glad it made it to recovery. A little tight as Ramon mentions. You can add some canvas in front of the bird.

Wonderful looking bird and definitely a unique crest. Love the eye in this capture. Thanks for sharing.

Good looking bird - BG compliments the bird nicely - just need a little more room up front :)
