Default Who else got the Harrier at Wako this evening?

I got off a few shots but had poor subject placement in the two best ones. The east boardwalk was in the background but blurry. I am not happy with the way they looked and will try to salvage my best photo by selecting the harrier and moving it up in the photo where there are only blurred green trees. This one below is cropped tighter than I would like but the boardwalk was right under the harrier so this is what I got.

I think it looks VERY nice, you could try a pano crop to give the bird a bit more room, but I like it, nice light, great exposure and detail, and the BG sure looks great IMO. Congratulatinos!

Great shot, colors are very natural and light is soft and nice, these shots are very difficult to get, great work

Very nice, Matt, if only that front wing was fully extended, wow.
The male is called the Gray Ghost because of the difficulty of seeing them.
I've seen this one in the distance only.

I added some canvas at the bottom in the feature Content Aware Scale in CS 4

Awesome Matt. Sure glad you were in the right place at the right time because these fellas move. Beautifu flight pose and eye contact. Really good detail too. Congratulations !!!

Here's the one I was talking about Fabs...thanks for the tutorial link! The only real issue for me is the eye because it looked like the membrane was covering it a bit on this one so I did what I could. So much to learn!

It looks terrific, Matt. I would post it on its own after 24 hours from the first post, so no one misses it :)
