    Hi Ed, good job on a tough exposure situation. I would normally prefer a lower angle but here your higher angle captured the wave action nicely around your subject. Not often we see the hood down in photos of this species...he actually looks quite relaxed!

    Good exposure control, Ed, and the wave action in the water is very interesting. I like that we can see his foot under the water. I would give him more room on the left, if you have it, as his tail is almost touching the frame.

    I like the eye contact and exposure control and might crop a bit off the top and remove the sheen from the bill.
