    in breeding plumage. taken two weeks ago at Bunche Beach near Ft Meyers.

    D300, Bigma at 420mm, f/6.3, 1/3200s, 0EV, ISO 400

    PP = slight crop off top for compo, establish black and white point, selectively sharpen bird, selective noise reduction on background. took about two minutes.

    A Nice catch Doctor...
    I like the sharp details and that prominent sharp eye...the background tones and hues are beautiful, complimenting your subject well...:cool:

    Exposure looks good Harold. Good flight capture. I have never seen this bird either.

    Great looking bird. Sharp eye, great wing position. Have to wonder, is the under body a little hot?

    Nice MR H - whites look good to me, like the pose and nice sharp eye with catchlight.

    Looks good Harold All I could wish for is a different wing position ... more up or down rather than bent !!! Doing good !!!
