hi denise, i was just thinking a little sharper eye. some may complain that the head intersects the wing. may be a valid point. i still like it though. and i think you handled the flash real well!!

    Lady Denise,
Your self assessment is right on the money...:D I like the capture angle and flight banking turn before his final approach for landing...

Harold, I'm not happy with it-but I have been asked by some to post one of my captures from that nite so I thought I would comply-even though I am not happy with the sharpness-it could have been worse w/ the flash!

Denise you are pretty close to a really good shot. Did you use the beamer, and at what setting (-2)? Very good try. Maybe would have been sharper with a higher SS.

D: I like the head angle and eye contact. Maybe a tad sharper. Overall I like it because of the look in it's face coming in.

Hi Denise - not far off the money -IMHO. Love the outstretched tail feathers and wing

    A tad sharper.

I like it a lot Denise !!! At Long Key we make a lot of images but keeper rate is low !!!

I like the wing position and exposure Good blend rendering mighty fine feather detail !!!
