    “Circling”

This fellow was banking left and right looking to see if he could find his lunch at Echo Pond, in Flamingo, at Florida’s Everglades National Park. He was painted with a Nikon D70s, using a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4D IF-ED lens. and a Nikkor 1.7 T/C.

    Image solution:
    focal length @ 765mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / ISO @ 500 / 1/2500 sec. - f/8 / white balance @ auto / AF - mode @ dynamic range, auto - continuous / color space @ sRGB /lighting solution - no speedlight, ambient light / exposure comp @ +1.3EV / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +1 degree / support platform - no tripod, hand held /

    Comments greatly appreciated…

Nice wing spread and HA Gus. Solid BG shows off the bird (osprey?) well.

Great wingspan and head angle. Like the blue sky, makes it stand out.

Mighty fine wing position Gus !!! Sharp and well exposed Would only boost contrast a tad !! .... btw as you were pressing the shutter that bird started to look at another quite intently !!! :)
