    Default Hot Little Hen

I photographed this little Red-Breasted Merganser yesterday morning. Unfortunately I had just got my camera back from Canon and neglected to check its settings. I usually shoot in RAW and this original image is a jpg. The whites on the breast are too hot--and I cannot get them toned down well in PS. Any suggestions would be helpful. :) I've tried some different layers, but the result is unnatural looking.

Hi Bonnie they usually send them back on jpeg Not sure why but has happened to me !!!!

Might try cloning into that area I think it will work fine Any other method will look odd !!! Love the head raised feathers and water drop !!!

    Bonnie,

Love the water drop! What a nice image all around, like what Robert did as well.
