P-G, very easy to create slide shows in iDVD. Just drag images into a window and adjust settings, then burn to DVD.

BTW, I can no longer recommend Pictures to Exe. Since they "upgraded" it, it is a nightmare. I think that Tim Grey recommends Pro Show Gold but best to check on that.

I "downgraded" back to an older version of Pictures to EXE for that reason. They made it a mess, and removed some functionality, too.

Pro Show Gold is surprisingly powerful. It's pretty simple from a control standpoint, but can do a surprising amount. However, it's geared much more towards making movie files--slideshows that play as QuickTime, for instance--than Powerpoint-style, "one click"="next slide" navigation. But, I suppose you can always hit "play" and "pause." It can make an "EXE" file, but it's not as useful as one might hope.

I do have a cool plugin for Lightroom, SlideShowPro, that can be customized to mimic the "look" of Pictures to EXE. I have the beta version of my new web site running with a gallery created with it. Note that this link will not be useful come may, as I will by then have shifted my Web site back over to david-kennedy.com. You don't have to have thumbnails displayed underneath. It can be tweaked to do pretty much whatever you want.

Thanks David. How do I go about downgrading to 5.1? At what point do I uninstall 5.5?

Unfortunately Pro Show Gold is also not on the Mac :(

And I have tried iMovie but the resolution it outputs is not good enough, nor is the colour range unfortunately...
