    San Juan, Puerto Rico. Canon 50D, Canon 100mm macro with macro flash. ISO 100, f/16 @ 1/250 sec. If you don't care for the spider, maybe you like the leaf.

    adcolon, I happen to like the image. The color of the spider works extremely well with the leaf. The mottled light doesn't bother me due to it's softness and the spider appears sharp throughout. I also like the slight diagonal of the spider. Very nicely handled!

    I love it all, Alfredo! I hate spiders in general but I have to say this is a fine looking specimen. The fact that he's on that gorgeous leaf only makes it even more powerful of an image. I think if the entire composition had been tilted a little more on a diagonal than a horizontal it would be even better but this is lovely as presented.

    You are making some huge strides, my friend.

    Now that's one fine looking spider, Alfredo. Looks good with the leaf background. Would wish for some leaf in UL corner.
