Inspired by William Neill -I decided to do an in camera blur with a macro lens of a Crown of Thorns plant. The colors were intense I thought that would add to the composition

    Hi Denise,
Hope you don't mind.....as these type of images are very subjective as far as taste goes.....but figured I'd show another possoble presentation....of the same subject. The re-post has a very different feel.....as your original has a softer feel.....only thing I may look into ...is toning down the brighter area towards the center/bottom. Oh yeah....my fondness for the crop tool....not for comp purposes here as much as the darker area seemd out of tone.....and drew the eye too much.

My re-post....using color adjustment....added blue and cyan......and then the burn tool....in the shadow areas....to bring out the graphic quality more....yeah it's to my taste more......and nothing wrong with the original....just trying to show people the possibilities.

In either case.....nice luxury to have and great vision for seeing something we often overlook! Let me know how you feel about it!

    Lady Denise,
Roman does show the other side of the coin, again, a matter of personal taste...I myself fancy the original with the softer side...well composed and executed...congrats...

Very beautiful Denise. I live the purple hues. I like the repost by Roman, the darker colours seem to give it more drama, well done!
