Just a fun one, not a "great photo." Whie taking photos of thesunset skies of Utah recently, I wanted to get the dirt, plants, etc showing golden against the dark, stormy sky in the background. Then, I noticed that because of the setting sun, I was actually in the shot, too, as a shadow. So, light does it all. Dark sky, sunset on land, and shadow--all caused by a great light, the sun.

    Nikon D40x, 10/2000 sec. Shutter priority, f4.5, iso 400 38 mm.

This reminds me of an old series I had ... Me and My Shadow !!! It was lots of fun !!!

Might like to see the shadow a little more to the left ... I like the bold surreal colors a lot Different and it works. btw you might tweak the contrast a bit, darken some of the shadows and lighten the dark blue (very little) Like your vision !!!

Hi Hazel...this is super...I like the rich bold colors...agree with Mr. Forns on the placement of the shadow...also might want to run a pass of noise reduction in the background...

I flipped it horizontally to move the shadow and like it better. Also tweaked some of the brightness, contrast and did some noise reduction
