full frame and had to remove the head from a second turkey. I did not saturate the color, this glow was from the angle of the sun reflecting off the feathers.

I would have like to see the feet and have better eye contact. both of which I do have in another image, but that image is missing its tail since this dude just walked up too close to fit in the frame! lol I really need to figure out how to combine two images.

    what do you think?

They sure light up with the proper sun angle Beautiful bird !!!

Wish you had a wider angle lens, just tight in frame. Should be no problem combining the body parts and a good project .... besides being fun its educational !! Hope you can get to this bird again !!

    Hi Cheryl,
I like the capture...you did a very good self assessment of your composition. I would like to see the hot spots on the snow toned down a wee bit...looking forward to your next one...

Hi Cheryl - amazing colours - agree with the comments above.

If you have two shots both taken around the same time from the same angle - combining them will not be really hard - try just cutting and pasting then masking the pasted area so that you only have the part you want.

agree with the others...the colors are awesome!!!! this bird would make a great foreground element for a landscape shot.
