This was taken at the Anhinga trial (right in front of the Gazebo) with Al and Fabs one morning. I'm sitting here in the snowstorm remembering what a great time I had!

I'll be there on the west coast with my tour starting saturday and looking forward to warming up and possibly capturing a few spoonies with this pose on Capt. James's boat!

This is the cleanest image I have as this guy was coming in to the tree.
Canon 1D Mark 3 with the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 648mm at f5.6 for 1/1600 sec. at ISO 800.....all tripod mounte with Wimberly head. Canvas added to bottom of frame (it was too tight even for me!).

Hey Roman, Spot on exposure, wing position with the open mouth a big bonus. Very well handled!!

Very dynamic image Roman. My preference is for a bit more room, but understand your preference too. The Spoonies rocked big-time 2 weeks ago from the Hooptie Deux and judging from a few other recent posts they still do...you should have a blast :-)

Cool pose, the open bill adds to it. Another vote for more room and maybe a slight contrast boost.

Great work on the wing position and head angle. Agree with more room in front and top - easy with that sky.

Looks good Roman. A little tight for my tastes, but to each his own!
