    This little black mink was photographed in the wild surging from a river close to my hometown. Comments and suggestions to improve the picture will be welcomed.

    Hi Yves,
    Peter is correct on the head angle.....and posting the specs will greatly help us evaluate the image more precisely...but here goes.....I know these guys are very elusive so the fact you captured one at all is nice......but there is a large halo around his back and there does appear to be a bit of work done behind the head/back......that can be smoothed over a bit more with a blur. I would also recommend toning down the grasses in front a bit....so that they don't catch your eye as easily. A few PP tweaks may help make this image a bit stronger.

    I like the detail in the wet fur and the comp works well with the critter on a diagonal entering the frame in the corner.

    Roman's points are well made.
