I had to do some evictions of some birds in the bg that werent paying rent. how'd i do?

    D300, Bigma at 500mm, f/9, 1/1000s, -0.3EV, ISO 400. natural lighting.

i was at f/9 because the light was great and the bigma performs better between f/8 and f/11. it's the sweet spot so to speak.

thanks for looking and your comments are appreciated.

Very nice Harold. You did some great PP work. Like the placement in the frame. Great HA to show off the beak.

Sweet light Mr H - PP work is very good IMHO. Like the pose, good head angle and eye contact and what a Bill/Beak.

    Well done :)

thanks, guys. lance, i was sitting in water at the time. if i went any lower the head was intersecting the horizon line or i would get a distant shoreline with antennas and stuff.

Hey Mr H - wow would never have know that about the shoreline from looking at the photo, it looks like a pristine unspoilt out of the way place -- good job :)
