    Jody:

    A wonderful owl. Razor sharp, great eye,nice light and wing position,angle in frame.

    The only two things I might tweak, would be a bit more canvas to the left to move him out of the center a bit, and maybe just a point or two brighter. Not much, just a smidge. I can really feel him gliding through the dim forest.

    A very striking image Jody and amazing detail. I agree a tad more room to the left would off center it a tad. Really love the dark BG in this capture and the mood you captured. Thanks for sharing.

    Jody,
    Perhaps a touch of levels to make it pop, but not much.
    On the crop, IMO the subject is large enough in the frame to support a centered composition.
    A looser composition with more room left would be fine as well.
