    While reworking on images from last year homer trip I took another stab on this guy.

    Sid:

    I like the sense of motion here, between the water splash and drops, and blurred wingtips. Eye is nice and sharp. Good head position. Exposure looks good. I might be tempted to crop a bit off top and bottom, more of a pano crop, which might increase the impression of motion across the frame. Just a thought.

    Good job by Randy above and I agree with his positives. I suspect that this might be a large crop as the image quality is not up to par. Would not have minded more of the splash behimnd the bird.

    Really like the action in this one Sid and your timing was right on. The blurred wings really give a sense of movement. Thanks for sharing.

    Pose and light are great. It's not very detailed, probably a big crop?
