Okay, so I was all psyched about an early spring...and then we got four inches of powder yesterday. At least there's something to photograph!

    Canon 40D, 1.4X TC, 70-200mm f/4L
    f10 @ 1/640th, ISO 200
    Manual mode, natural light, AWB
    Pattern metering
Processed in ACR & CS4; slight crop, slight levels adjustment, sharpening.

    You nailed that one.

I love the composition, the "L" combo, and the diffused snow.

    Works for me.

I love the minimalist feeling to this one, very well done. If it were mine, I'd take some off the top, it may be stronger.

Thanks Joseph! Fabs, I think you're right...I'll go take a little off the top.

That will teach you not to get all fired up about Spring too early! :D Looks who talking!

This is a "making lemonade from lemons" image. The good Lord gave you snow and you made the most of it! Nice job.

    Hey Jules,
I'm sitting in that snowstorm right now.....but we'll get closer to 10 inches! I too like the simplicity and agree with the crop (go figure)........now what about all those dust bunnies and white spots? My sensor is so dirty.....I spend more time on that soemtimes than on the actual correction. Anyway.....Nicely done.
