Great pose, ripples and reflection. Too bad the sun was not behind you. I might decrease the blue saturation on the bird's chest. Did you clone out something in the BG?

I like the reflection, ripples in the water and your composition. The side light from the rear placing the face and chest in shadow is not preferred.

Besides the light, I think this is by far one of your best images.

    Keep up the good work!

Lovely reflection and "mood". Could perhaps do with another round of sharpening. Sidelight does not bother me too much, you can still see the detail in the face.

Very striking presentation Stuart and I love the dark BG and the beautiful ripples in the water. The exposure is excellent and not always easy with this species. Like this one a lot Stuart.

Beautiful capture, Stuart. The blacks are somehow blocked because of the side light, not sure if Shadow/Highlight could pull some out of it.
You can Quick mask the eye (you know how) and make lighter, I'm sure the red is there.

Composition is spotless and the circles make for great center of interest with the red legs.
    Proud of you!
