Image from the Masi Mara Triangle. This Cheetah and it's partner have concluded an unsuccessful chase of an adult Topi and her calf and just flopped down in the tall cover to rest. You can see the ear cocked rearward waiting for arrival sounds of it's hunting companion. It was almost impossible to blur the bg in this heavy grass. This is a significant crop. Hope you like my image. C and C eagerly sought, I'm here to learn. - John

Not t bad for a heavy crop. Presentation good for web, I'd go looser for a print, especially at the bottom. Love the intensity of its face.

Agree with Fabs John. Great color those eyes.

Beautiful image of this lovely creature. I agree, no need to go quite this tight. I'd work on the bg, it looks grainy in the upper 1/3 and the animal could be a bit sharper which might resolve itself with a looser crop. Thanks for sharing this image, it surely is a keeper!

I am fine with the framing. The only thing that bugs me is the single, angled, o-o-f blade of grass in front of the animal's breast.

Lovely eyes. I would like a little bit more space at the top and bottom. Thanks for sharing.
