    Default Venetian Pano

In at the last minute....according to the assignment deadline...
A pano of the interior of the Venetian Hotel/casino in Las Vegas. If you've been there, you'll know it is set to always be 5 p.m. in this courtyard, so lighting is very difficult. Lots of blues to deal with. A pano of 4 shots.
1/8, f2.8,7.7mm,iso 100 (probably could have been higher on the iso) A good deal of PS work removing a lot of the blue hue but trying to leave the late afternoon glow.

Oops....after I posted this, I printed off a copy realized how pale it seemed. So, I did some selective burn at 5% and think it looks better. ???

hazel, looks like you did well with the stitch. it may be a little late now, but did you take these as horizontals or verts? verts may have gotten you more foreground. it seems chopped down below. looks like you handled the light nicely!

Hi Hazel - good job of the stitching - Exposure looks good, agree with MR H about the verticals - does have a cut off feel at the bottom.

    Default Venetian Pano

Thanks. Guess I was so focused on the light that I didn't think about verticals. I took horizontals. Note to self: next time I want to try for pano shots, think of both vert and horz and then see which works better. Still learning......

Hi Hazel. It's also possible to record two rows of horizontals (would have been 8 pics total for this pano) and get more height in the stitched picture.
