It snowed BIGTIME here today...made for a day stuck at home but lots of birds at the feeders all day long! Here's one of my favorites from today - a goldfinch who couldn't fit in at the fully loaded feeders. Canon 40D, 1.4 TC & 70-200mm f/4L F7.1 @ 1.320th, ISO 400 Manual mode, Cloudy WB, pattern metering Processed in ACR & CS4 Would you leave the sunflower seeds in or clone them out?
My .02 Julie.
jackie nailed it! i was thinking the eye looked dead and was going to suggest a catchlight, but i like the repost!!
Do like the re post and the catch light would not hurt !!! I like the slight right placement Jules !!!
Hi Julie - repost looks good - composition and HA is good - nice job :)
Nice capture Julie, I like the head angle and eye contact...the repost puts this over the top...
Julie, nice feather details and HA -Jackie's re-post is great!! I'd clone the seeds. I think the snow carries the BG
Jackie, that's so funny because I thought the same thing once I posted it. We must be two birds of a feather. hahahahahahaha
Very nice Julie
