    Going through some images as part of the never ending task of organizing inventory. Descided that this one would be worth posting.

    Self critique: the perch is what makes this shot. It has lots of form and texture: the cavity frames the bird.

    EXIF
    Camera: Canon 30D
    Lense: Canon EF 500 IS L
    Mode: Apeture priority
    ISO: 400
    White bal.: custom 5450
    Exposure: 1/1250 @ f 8.0, -.33 exp. comp.: fill flash; +.66 comp: Better Beamer extender

    Sweet pose and lovely composition. Great BG and the lighting is beautiful. Unique image and I like it a lot. Thanks for sharing Mark .

    I like the pose and BG. The camouflage works really well. I would not sharpen the perch.

    I'm torn on this one, Mark. I think the perch is nice, but more suited for a much larger bird. I do like the overall brown tones in this image.
