    Default Rocky Mountain High




    took this from the plane window while over the Rockies in Colorado ....

    used my Lumix to shoot it and converted to B&W with silver effects pro.....

    Michael:

    Love the depth of field and the range of tonality. I like the diagonal of the mountain range. The clouds balance the top and bottom of the picture. Nice.

    Which model of Lumix did you use?

    That's incredible, Michael. I thought the Canon Powershot cameras took a nice photo but wow...that's incredible.

    This is impressive Michael,
    I like the perspective...the contrasting cloud formation pops out from the mountains...well done...:cool:

    Michael, you did a great job on the technicals here. I've been studying the image and see that roughly 60% of the image is one type of terrain and 40% is another. I find my eye continually going back and forth having trouble resting. For my taste I cropped the image about a third down from the top so now the vast majority is concentrating on the mountains. To my eye I found that composition more appealing....
