    I was following this little guy when he decided to fluff.
    ISO=400 f/6.3 at 1/640th. of a sec. w/0.7 Ec. 100-400-L set to 365-MM-Canon-40-D

    The bird is a litle bit centered (more room at the right would be great) to my taste but I like the combination of sharp areas and the blurred ones. The dark, bow-like, line in the Bg is a litle bit distracting. I also like the soft light and interesting colours in thBG.

    I agree with Juan's comment here, but let me say that the Backgrounds you are getting are simply beautifull, full of colors and life! Great sharp/blur combo and very nice detail. COngratulaitons Bill!

    Very nicely captured Bill. I too like the combination of blur and sharpness where it counts. I also agree with Ramon. Your BG's have been gorgeous and really very striking.. Good comments from above. So good to see you posting again Bill and keep them coming. These small little birds are a real challenge and you are doing some great work.

    I like the calling pose and moment captured and wish there were no OOF leaves in the foreground. It looks as if there is a slight magenta cast.
