    Default Ibis in 3D

Captured this fellow while hanging out with the IPT group here in SW Florida a couple weeks ago. I kept thinking everyone would post an image of this Ibis that posed so well for the group, but haven't seen any others yet. Artie was standing right beside me while I was working this series with perfect light angle. I love the 3D effect of the bird-shadow-reflection on this. I remember waiting until he moved for just a bit of seperation on those legs. Hope everyone else got some good ones too! Let's see them!

    Canon 1DsMII, 600mm f/4L, f/6.3, ISO 200, 1/2500, 0 EV, Tripod.

Great light, details and reflection. It needs some CW rotation.

Ha! Guess who else was standing beside you!! Although with "only" 400mms of reach I did move up closer after you and Artie were done :-) As requested here is one of mine...pretty similar don't you think! Interesting comparision of techs too:

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @400mm, aperture priority, eval metering, 1/1600s., f/8, ISO 400, +0.3 EC, handheld

LOL - Good one Dan! I like your head angle better.

    Inspirational work.

Lovely setting and those colors are the ones I like to concentrate on when I go to see my dentist! yes those are very relaxing colors.
I like Axel's image also but I find the original post better due to eye contact, eye definition, and head turn.
