    This is another from the gannet colony - HA is a little off, but I like the look of this little guy - seems to be contemplating life. BG Is surf on the beach below - cropped and sharpened - otherwise as is.

    Mr. Peters,
    We are going to name this little guy "Cotton Candy"...:D:p I like the capture and composition...the colors and hues look very nice...I like that sharp eye...good show...:cool:

    Excellent name Gus :) Really like it Lance Its very appealing !!! When I was at the colony didn't get a chance to go after the babies.. they all stuck to the parents !!!

    Hi Al - yes they tend to do that :)

    I found that there was a very small window of opportunity - the parent at the nest would fly off looking for food I guess and the other parent would arrive back maybe 30 seconds later during which time the babies had a bit of a look around :)

    Nice details and exposure Lance. Like the vista with the water in the BG. Does look like a little puffball:)
