Chicks 8-10 days old, or so. And in the twigs, as usual.
It reminds me of the title Alfred told me he would use for a book - "A Twig Away."
40D 400 5.6L @ 5.6 1/320 iso 400. Btw, when I saved for web to get to 146.5 kb, the file quality was very low, around 37%. As a full-sized jpg, it doesn't have any artifacts. I don't know why the conversion quality was so low.
I'm almost glad to hear you had problems with "save for the web". I had the same problem with my first post here. I will never use that again but rather convert to 8 bit Jpeg to post. Your image is reminisant of my Rookery shot (Cattle Egrets)but with better head position on the chicks. Twigs don't bother me if they don't block the action. It's called natural habitat. Nice image, not often seen. Maybe work on the BG noise in the upper left corner. :)
Hi Lance not sure what happened with save to web I always use that method for saving and specify 140 for size Should not be a problem
Glad we have youngsters Will be there Sunday morning (I hope) You did great with the poses Multiple birds are tough Wold go a little tighter particularly from the left Excellent !!!
Wonderful image, Lance. I agree about cropping, but love the chicks making noise and mom looking as though she wished she had some aspirin. Good level of interest. Went shooting in Central FL this a.m.
Wow Lance I love it and you got both little GBH babies. A wonderful captured moment and you did a fine job getting them both in focus. Excellent and congrats !!
