Very lovely Bonnie. I love the downward stroke, and good comp - pano was a good choice. I like the different colours in the BG, but you could tone down the small brighter part that is touching the primaries.

Very nice light, pose, detail, BG, colors and exposure, I like the pano crop but would´ve left a bit more room all arround. Congratualitons!

Cool pose and details. Maybe a bit less saturation?

Hi Bonnie, What a creative way to present this image, love the pano crop. The bit of motion blur on the wing tips keeps it from feeling static. Lovely light and nice eye contact. I too vote for a bit more room on top for him (or her!)

Thanks, everyone for your comments on this one. I had already added a bit of canvas at the bottom--but I will give it even more room.
Axel--about the saturation...I am having problems getting my PS image to look the same on the web these days. This has never happened before. My image as I see it in PS is not as saturated, but when I upload it it becomes more saturated than I would prefer. I have calibrated my monitor--and the image is of course converted to srgb.
I have a new monitor, so I am assuming it is to blame--but so far I haven't discovered how to correct this. I have been posting for years and never had this problem before. Any answers???

Hmm...spectacular! Nothing like sweet light and a great background! You did very well to freeze the action at that shutter speed:-)
