    Default My first egret !

I feel very excited. This evening I went to the sea shore, and I guess it was my lucky day, because I could shot this egret. Wow, I just was sitting in a rock, waiting for any shore bird, when this egret came, and fished . And I could do some good shots on it. I know the background is caotic, and maybe not a great shot, but it´s my first :-)

Jose, I like this very much...you captured the moment...The details are nice and sharp with a good head angle and sharp eye contact...my recommendations would be to give your subject just a tad more room on top of the frame. tone down the hot spot on the top of the head and the one on the tip of his tail feathers...and selective sharpen the eye some more...also lighten the fish just a little to bring out the details...congratulation...this is a fine image...proud of you Sir...:)

Congratulations Jose !!!! It is a fine capture and the meal a big plus !!

Agree on the extra room and for the bg clutter there is an easy solution ... go flat on the ground !! The perspective will amaze you !!!

Great capture, Jose. How much of a crop did you have to do?

I guess I am probably wrong about this since no one else has mentioned it, but I feel the feet need a little more room.

Hi Jose - agree with Gus & Al's comments - well done -- first's are always great -- gotta love them.
    Gus's tweaks would certainly improve.
I am also with william - some more room for the feet might be in order - whilst they are not cut off - just feel really tight.

    Looking forward to more :)
