I captured this image some time back in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. I can never stop marvelling at the quality of the light there, the sky seems immersed in sunlight, permeating everything! The quality is further enhanced by the reflection of the light off the white river sand in the dry river beds, lifting the under-wing shadows automatically:)

Cool pose, details and I also like the dangling feet. The sky is a bit noisy and there are a few dust spots.

The look on the birds face says "I'm one mean character". What's for lunch! Excellent image. Good blues, lot's of wing details, excellent from tip to tip.
