This afternoon at Anhinga Trail. I had to put the camera on the boardwalk and capture the image from the ground because I wouldn't have had the color of the water otherwise. We ran into BPN mod Denise Ippolito and BPN members Ed and Gail Cordes.

I love the contrasting colors here, they give a pleasant mood to the image. The S-curve of the neck adds to the composition as does that great head angle. The details in the feathers are good, I especially like the black splotches on his neck. Well done, I like this one.
