This was taken right before sunset at the midst of winter, which can make for some crazy colors in my experience. I virtually didn't do anyting to the saturation in this picture, I increased contrast in levels and curves and added 5 points of saturation. These are the colours that came out..........

Gotta love those winter sunsets :D

I thought about cleaning up the BG and FG a bit but decided that I liked the overal setting, hope you like it too.

Love it Krijn. The colours are beautiful. Love the low angle, BG and water. Maybe a little more angle of the head towards you would be optimal but ultimately I think it's very nice as is. There is an illusion of the need for a slight CCW rotation but I think it's just that, an illusion.

I love your colors, reflection and low angle Krijn. The pebbles in the middle ground have a very pleasing effect. You exposure is dead on and the details in the bird's plumage are excellent. Well done.

Beautiful Krijn. The soft light is wonderful and I love the wet sand and the blue background.

Great angle, light, details and I like the wide crop. Does it need a bit CCW rotation?

Lovely delicate image with superb colours and light!. Perhaps a tiny bit of CCW rotation (?)

I love it Krijn. Another vote for CCW rotation. Fantastic BG, reflection and eye contact. Love the mood of the scene and the warm light. Good job!
