I photographed this Verreaux's Eagle near my home in Johannesburg about two years ago. This is one of a remarkable pair of birds that are still holding out in the city out despite the rapid urbanization of their territory.

Terrific topside view Chris. Exposure and sharpness are excellent. I might lighten the iris just a little.

Lovely shot Chris! Like doug I love the topside view. The detail in the blacks is great, and the BG is very nice as well. Would be interested in seeing this with Dougs suggestion, but it is defenitely not a dealbreaker. Excellent shot!

With this view, I am feeling like I am flying right along side him. Agree with the above. Excellent wing spread too.

Great banking pose, eye contact and exposure control. I also like the fanned tail and might selectively sharpen the head more.

In my monitor the whites look a bit hot, but as nobody said so it is probably because of my monitor, GREAT pose, detail, BG, head angle and comp. COngratualitons!
