Shot yesterday at Green Cay, very rarely seen and very rarely photographedand consider myself very lucky to have gotten it.
ISO = 400 f/5.6 1/125th. of a sec +0.7 Ec. 100-400-L set at 375-MM.
Great capture of a very hard to catch bird. Like the pose and the BG. On my monitor it looks like it could use just a little more sharpening of the eye.. Good work..

Awesome pose Bill! Agree about some additional sharpening. I might have pushed the ISO a little higher for some additional shutter speed. The branch that the bird is perched on looks a little funny at the end; clone work?
Bill I like the eye contact, raised tail and light. I agree with Doug about the tip of the perch. A round of noise reduction would be great and I agree about sharpening but I think that if you try to add more sharp to this image you will have a lot of noisy effect.
Points already mentioned, and I agree with them. I will add that I love the pose, and I especially like the fact we have a glimpse of the "rust" under the tail - this is a field mark we don't often see in photographs.
