Hi, this is a quite intimate image of an european robin looking for some insects in the old trunk.
I don't mind about the missing eye contact, because it shows the natural behaviour looking for food. But may be, it's only me, so I hope for comments.
While the robin was searching food, there was heavy wind, blowing in the plumage and giving the bird the fluffy and stylish look.

    Really nice shot, Rosl.

I think the wind really adds to the picture, with the fluffy feathers. Great job on the details and the bg really helps.

This is a great behavior image and I don't mind the missing eye contact since he is just doing his thing. I also like the wind-blown plumage and BG and would crop a bit off the right.

This is very nice - great composition! This can be best described as a "candid" bird photograph...

A good behavioural image Rosl of the robin foraging. I love the BG which really compliments the birds plumage.
This robin could be mistaken for some of our wrens!!

Well done Rosl, this image has attracted lots of positive comments - deservedly so.

Very nice photo. The fluffy look as a result of the wind definitely adds interest to the image and maybe there is no eye 'contact', but the eye is clearly visible and in focus and hence this image works for me!
