Nice pose and BG colors, but the subject is a bit dark for my tastes. A bit of fill would have helped bring out the bird while keeping the bright spots in the BG under control.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll re-post with a bit more fill and see if that improves the image.

The nice thing about fill flash is that you could have toned down the BG in-camera by underexposing using your camera's exposure compensation. And you could have illuminated the bird with fill flash. Like the repost better than the original, but I'd tone down the bright spots.

Got to agree with the other posts. The repost is a great image except for the BG..
