    1/20 ss @ F5.6
    3 flash heads mounted on front of lens.

    Nice capture.

    Couldn't get that ant much sharper!!

    Both colors accent the ant well.

    Okay, James...share...how does one mount three flashes on a lens?

    That ant! Holy smokes is he gorgeous! I want that lighting on my next self-portrait!

    Nikon has a wireless system that allows you to screw an adapter onto the lens' filter threads.
    I used 3 SB-R200 flash heads (they are small) that mount to the adapter. The SB-R200s are controlled wirelessly in camera with the D300 and other Nikon bodies.

    The ant is tack sharp and OOF areas and colors give this a wonderful abstract look.
