This photograph is from the past year from a fantastic birding and photographic weekend. I rarely use a tripod but that weekend I was trying one of a friend to improve my results with the 2XTC

    Doñana National Park (Spain).

Yes I remember this one and I love it yet again. Lovely image!! Like the composition, pose and the feather detail! The calm water suface adds to the pop of the flamingo. Very nicely done and again thanks for your info Juan, helped a lot!!

Great shot Juan, the exposure is spot on and the ruffled feathers add a special touch!

Loads of impact here Juan - I love the Flamingo's pose and the raised feathers on the back. Excellent exposure for the white plumage contrasting beautifully against the deep blue water - I would, however, like to see a bit more space above at the top of frame.

Excellent image, I like the pose, light and details. I might give it a bit more room.

Juan, I think this is the best image if a single flamingo I've ever seen. Perhaps you should use that tripod more often!

    Hi Juan,

Excellent photo. The exposure could not be better and the pose is very nice.

Very lovely image and the ruffled feathers really makes it for me. A touch more room at the top.
