:D There is a flock of feral Black-Hooded Parakeets living in Sycamore Canyon - just up the coast from Malibu. I have been trying to get an un-cluttered picture of one of them, but they just love to hang out in the Sycamore trees and eat the fuzzy fruit.

I finally got a flash today, the 580EX II. Hoo boy! I'm going back to see this little fella and put some proper light on him! ;)

Kerry , The colors are cool!! Love the fruit in his hand! Good luck w/ the re-capture!! Did you try putting an accented egde on him?Not sure but might look good.

Agree with Denise...the colors are spectacular. If you can get a little cleaner image I think it would be a home run.

Nice capture...the colors are funky, but I like them...:) now that you have the flash, a whole new world is going to open up, giving you more opportunities to capture these little guys...:D:cool:
