    Went down to the cliffs and met up with the BPN crew yesterday and enjoyed some great early light at 7:30am. Cropped 25%.
    D2x, 300mm f/4 AFS, 1/1000, f/5.6, ISO 400

    Well worth getting out early to capture this image. Good comp and exposure. Nice BG.

    Great light, pose and details. I might give it a little bit more room and maybe some S/H on the dark part of the left wing but I like it as is.

    Very nice light and pose! I think you could add some sharpening to the head of the bird.

    I don't have any nits, just dropped in to say "nice shot", all looks sharp where it needs to be and that great blue blur in the distance that we love. Hope to bump into you again down there in the coming few weeks...I drove by you guys but it looked crowded so I shot seals instead, I should have stopped!
