    Hi Oz - out testing that new camera ;)

    Love the open beak pose -- your blacks under the wings look a bit blocked - histogram conforms this. Maybe some fill flash might have helped - although yuo would have had to go High speed sync mode and even with a better beamer not sure if it would have helped much (depends on how far away you were).

    cant wait to see more from your D3 :) :)

    Oz, Love the pose and agree w/ Lance on the blacks-Nice wing position and BG!

    Hi Mr. O,
    I like the capture...agree with Mr. Peters on the blacks...you have nice details in the feathers...the baby blue sky makes your subject pop...:) my recommendation would be to selective sharpen the eye...good show...:cool:

    Crank up the ISO Oscar :) With those you can get detail in dark wings but will loose the pretty blue sky !!! I was exposing at + 1 2/3 for that bird .... bird look great but sky did not !!

    Sweet and sharp ..... remember doing the target test for the other lens !!!!

    that sky is fantastic and you caught the stork in a great pose. well done! looks like all the new equipment is working quite nicely!!!
