Took a quick trip to Viera Wetlands this afternoon and it was a bit slow...for me anyway. I spent some time watching this heron stand on top of a palm trunk so he could get a good look at the water below. He would spot a fish and launch in hopes of scoring some dinner. I actually like the look he's got on his face...a look of incredible concentration.

Hey Alfred,

It was pretty calm until later in the afternoon and then the sun was pretty tough. There were actually quite a few Blues chasing each other around so it was fun watching them.

Nice mood, I like the calm atitude of the bird, lovely colors, detail and comp, a bit more sharpening could help. Congratulations!

Hi Matt - he is concentrating hard - very nice Ilike it a lot - would just sharpen the bird a tad more - a little soft on my screen - keep them coming :)
