    While photographing Common Redpolls I had this fellow fly in. C&C appreciated.

    Hi Mike, excellent composition and interesting perch. It coulr probably stand a little warmer temperature. Neat BG.

    Like the perch. The cool colours work well for me here. perhaps a bit more yellow to make contrast there greater?

    The BG sets this bird off nicely! I also like the pose and perch! Maybe a bit more room up top?

    I would darken the whole image a very little bit and try more saturation, but lovely indeed! Congratulations!

    Mike:

    I like the perch so much that for me it becomes the subject, more than the bird!

    Perhaps if it was slightly darker, it wouldn't compete so much.

    I do really like the image, but that perch really sucks one in.
