    Default Artsy (?) blur...

    I like this one for some reason. Maybe you will too...
    To me it has a a dreamy watercolor kind of feel to it. I also like the angle and symmetry.

    It looks like a painting...with soft pastel colors...I like the flight angle and landing position...well done...:cool:

    Dan, I like this one too! The colors are fantastic-it does have a real artsy feel to it!!

    As soon as I saw this I immediately thought "radial blur!" I selected the bird with the lasso tool and selected inverse. Then I did a radial blur to help add a little "action" to the BG. Finally, I sharpened the bird just a bit to give him a little crispness inside all that lovely blur.

    I see what you are thinking there, Julie - it does kind of magnify the effect that was already present. Cool effect. Thanks to everyone for the feedback.
