I'm not sure what to think on this one... this is an image of one of the 'close encounters' with a bald eagle from a week or so back here in northern Utah. I've cropped left and right, and slightly along the top. I like the composition, but usually never crop such amount on a close-up like this... I also liked the background and overall comp so I thought I'd share. Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.

Love this choice of crop. It's different. It's action packed. The crop tells the story. The detail is also outstanding. Great capture!

I like the crop John, it's different but it is dramatic and the colours and lighting are nice.

John if that one didn't frame up and get your attention - nothing would. I would actually take off about half of what you've got between the bottom edge and the bottom tip of the wing. Hold a card up to the bottom and watch him speed up and the focal point move up to the eye.. Great shot and comp. Nice job!
