Hi Dale,
I like what you were trying to accomplish here...a few points to consider...the focal point is not on the berries; its on the center branch just above the fruit, your depth of field is very shallow...why were you using a wide open aperture of f/2.8?
I modified your base image by cropping from the left and the bottom, this introduces the subject more naturally into the frame from above and gives it the hanging quality that it should have. also I increased the saturation and contrast by one percent, selective sharpened the berries and ran noise reduction in the background...see if this presents best to you...:cool:
Thanks - your post much better - I guess I went for "shallow depth of field use wide open" I did do other photos and pushed the saturation but it seemed fake to me - your way does not. Thanks again DEL
