    Default White-Tailed Kites

I spent 5 days in Veracruz, Mexico with a great ornithologist Manuel Grosselet (www.tierradeaves.com). In 5 days we saw about 100 spices of birds including some rare ones in Mexico. In between banding birds we had chances to take pictures too. This couple was sitting close to our banding station in the morning, than they split for hunting. I don't have in flight images....I am experiencing difficulties with the AF of this camera.....time to upgrade.

    Thanks for looking.

Love this picture. The pose and light are outstanding! Some may say the perch (esp the middle portion is too much.) I say this is nature at it's best and the habitat only adds to the beauty of this capture. Thank you for sharing.

Sounds like you had a great experience! I would love to be able to do that!! It's not everyday you have 2 WTK in one image! Nice composition w/ a complimentary BG!
