    Default Bonding

I wanted to show the bonding between the calf and mother. I wanted to do something bordering on the abstract. The calf was touching the mother's mouth and trunk with its own trunk. Let me know if I succeeded in creating another imbalanced image rather than creating a unique perspective. :D I won't feel bad.

    Hi Sabyasachi,

I like the soft light you captured, but I would like to see a wider shot as I have lost the scale relationship between the calf and mother. I'm not sure that this isn't two young animals. You captured a touching moment. - John

I love this! I like the tight framing focusing on the calf, and it definitely shows the bond between them! I do think it would have been better if you had had a faster shutter speed so that the mother's trunk wasn't blurred. Still, it's a very touching photo! Thanks for sharing!

May be little more of mother? I guess it will take attention from little guy. I like it as it is.

    Hi Sabyasachi,
This one almost works for me. I think the mother's trunk is just a bit to blurry to convey the message. I do like the closeup on the baby's face though, and when the image is scrolled to minimize the mother, I find that to be a nice intimate portrait with good eye contact.

How wonderful to have the opportunity to see and capture these moments Sabyasachi. It definitely shows the love between parent and baby. Thanks for sharing.

I think you achieved your vision. I'm not sure on the blur but thats my opinion...

I like what you are working to achieve here. A little faster shutter speed (say 1/60 sec) might have been better but hard to judge and the speed of the mother is greater then the young one.

I would try LCE using USM on BG at 20/50/0.
