I took this picture last Saturday at Gatorland. If you are or will be in the Orlando area in the next few months, Gatorland is a great place to go.

Nice high key image. I do wish the tip of the bill was more in focus. The colors of the face and eye bring a lot to the image.

My attention is drawn immidiately to the spectacular eye and lores of the egret, rendering the soft bill-tip a mere afterthought (althought it would have been easy to get it sharp with a smaller aperture - but you knew that from reading your techs). Excellent comp, and I like how the subject appears from the high-key BG in URC. Well done Adam.

The breeding colors make this one for me. I like the high key BG and agree that a wider DOF would have been even better. Maybe you can selectively sharpen the bill some more.

I have the feeling that whites feathers are almost too white, but I love how the face just pops out! Great colors and detail, I like it VERY much. COngratulations!
